Reaching out to healthcare professionals

I have a long and varied history with Philips, and have worked on everything from consumer marketing for IPL hair removal and AirFryers to B2B HCP strategies. I am especially proud of my work setting up the Philips Avent Academy for Midwives, an educational platform and marketing tool for healthcare professionals.

Together with the Philips Mother and Child Care team, I focused on Philips Avent content strategy and development for their professional market. Including many science-based Lunch and Learn presentations, UX copywriting, and good old folders and brochures. And how fun it is to help with new product messaging strategy, messaging hierarchy and other types of communications!

One of my greatest joys was carefully studying dozens of scientific publications, which I used to write a series of bite-sized articles so midwives, lactation specialists, pharmacists and other HCPs could easily keep up with developments in their field. As you can imagine, gaining such a depth of knowledge was a real bonus when it came to developing strong and fact-based messaging strategies.
